Is it because I'm a nubie that I'm not able to see attachments?

I believe that every single "Attached Thumbnails" link takes me to the page that says:

XXXXXX, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
3. You are registered, but not currently sububscribed for this advanced feature. more info

Welcome to the forums!!!

We were having trouble with spam bots using attachment downloads as a way to create a "Denial of Service" attack on the site a while ago. Our setting stopped any user who had less than one (1) post from viewing/downloading attachments. The bots were never posting a message, so we used this setting to stop them from crashing the server.

We've changed the way that this is being handled now and I've reset the system to allow attachment views for new members.

Please check some attachment posts now and let me know if you're still having trouble.
