Here's half of my next order done. A guy ordered two hunters for his boys. This one has some outstanding curly maple that came from Jim Clow (thanks Jim!) These will see use as hunters, possibly even a few african safaris.

The damascus spacer is a remnant from some of Ed Caffrey's (thanks Ed!) mosaic. I thought it resembled the stripes on zebra hides so it was a fitting piece.

Specs:

Forged from 1084 steel
8 3/4" overall, 4 1/8" blade (3 5/8" sharp), .180" thick at the ricasso
German silver guard
Mosaic damascus steel spacer with blued steel collars
Stabilized curly maple sculpted handle
Handle is 1/2" thick just behind the guard

Very nice touch with the damascus spacer and the handle contours are beautiful as well.
