We're working on the user registration and the new user posting system to try to cut down on spam. Please report if you encounter, or hear of any errors being experienced by users here. This will mostly affect new users.

We're waging a war on spammers and spam bots. This weekend, I've implemented a handful of ip blocks and spider bans. It appears to be working, but please let me know if you guys experience any weirdness from the board scripts.

Also, I've reinstated instant new user posting, but I'm moderating all posts from those new users who have a url link in them. If they sign-up and post a url in their messages, it will send them to a moderation queue where I can determine if they need to be banned or not, without displaying their posts publicly.
