I fell in love with that grind the 1st time I saw it. It's a take off from one of Bo's WWII "Commandos". Very few were made. Here's a pic of one from Pete Hamilton's book on page 88. I believe it was part of Tom Clinton's collection at the time:

There was a WWII Hunter grind that was close. I think there were even fewer of these made than Commandos:

I am ordering a #4-6F next month from the Shop. I too love the lines of this model.

I like your "Fighter", Ralf! It looks like it would get the job done very handily.

Ron, those swooping blades on the WWII "Commandos" and that early "Hunter" are cool indeed.

Obviously, Bo found this grind to be very uplifting as well.
