I have no problem with a recount. Anytime a dimpled chad is accidentally misinterpreted as a vote, the result is questionable. :p

Having said that, if you read the text in my picture post you'll notice that I've solicited the feedback of any and all viewers who may be able to help me improve my digital photography skills. That, for me, is the spirit of this contest. Given the beauty and quality of the other entries, I'm flattered to have won any votes at all.

Let's call this week's contest a big tie between all the participants and use the next two weeks to take even better pics. The next contest will be the best and most difficult one yet.

Thanks to all of you for making this a fun learning experience. Now bring on the feedback so I can learn a few things :D

Wulf, I voted for your pic because it was the strongest image of a knife entered. You showed the knife at it's best angle and nothing distrated you from that. The pic is a winner.

I will say this, on the technical side the Color Balance was all off. Way to warm indicating the lighting being used. It didn't in this case detract from the final image, and that's all that counts.

Hmmm, I as well voted for Wulf. The image was clear, the knife sharp and I loved the extra warmth. I thought it was done on purpose, I saw creativity.
