At the fall meeting here in Columbus, Dr. Joe Sangster asked if I would add some scrimshaw to 3 of his knives...I will attempt to attach a photo of 2 of them since so many of you were kind enough to watch my scrimshaw demoo that day. The third knife will be color scrim and when it is finished, I'll try to post it...Thanks again for coming to columbus....James

Good work! Enjoyed seeing your work at the Guild meeting.
Nice work James!
Makes me feel even worse about not making it down to Columbus.
See you at the Twins in February?
Maybe Joe can bring those for us to look at then, if he still has them.

Those look really nice.
The other day I ran across some little samples that both John and I tried our hand at scriming. We were doing elephants. John's looks so stately and majestic. Mine looks like it was in a battle and lost.
You guys who have the talent make this stuff look easy.

James, been a loooong time. Your work looks great. I can remember when we were all trying to get the hang of this knife stuff. Hope to see you at one of the meetings. Travis Daniel. used to be in Thomaston Ga.
