Chisel Grind?

The blade is only ground on one side.

Also a "true" chisel grind (from what I've been told) does not have any secondary edge. So to sharpen it the whole surface of the bevel must be worked.
Check out R.J Martins work he makes some of the best chisel ground blades i've seen.

Oh yeah, Chisel grinds are not ambidextrous either,
the Grind is on the Right side for a right handed person and on the Left side for a left handed person.

The reason gor the left or right grind is ,you can use it like a wood chisel.You can vary the depth of the cut.

I carry a leatherman micra for my E.D.C (every day carry). The pocket knife on the micra has a chisel ground edge on it and it's VERY sharp and seems to be extremely durable. I've pried stuff with it and the edge maintains itself nicely.
