I think it would be great if Phillip or Barry Jones would do a hands on class on how to tie a "Turks head knot" knife guard.
I feel this would be very informative. A Demo I would love to see.:D

Ok call me slow ...I know what a turks head knot is, but what is a turks head knot knife guard?

Barry Jones

It's a turks head knot tied where the guard would be. They're usually tied on Japanese style cord-wrapped handles.

Barry I think a pic of one is in order here.

Guys, be sure and bring a length of cord cause this will be hands on knot tying.
3 feet of cord should be plenty.

Looking forward to the meeting, as always.

Barry or phillip, who was the guy you introduced me to at the last meeting out in the hall. he was a friend of yours and he was doing a lot of knot tying. he offered to do a demo for me. would be great to have both on the same program. give me a shout . Travis,

The guy tying all the knots was Eric Luther.
He said he would demo them at the meeting.
