I drop in once in a while to see what is going on, and thought I'd make your next meeting Oct 18th but as always I can't make it, maybe the next one. I know most of your don't know who I am, I was in the Knifemakers Guild ( not the North Caroline Guild ). I'm from Ohio and moved to NC 6 years ago.
I haven't done much, I had three major surgeries last Feb 25,2008 and caused some head problems ( like just didn't want to do any thing) but been doing better the last month and been working on some knives. Here is a picture one one that is about done. That I have made in the last two weeks.

GH is right Art. Wow. Absolutely a classic design. And the proportions are perfect. I guarantee Bowie would carry that one.
Man, I'm glad to know your feeling better and getting back to work pounding out work like that.
Can't wait to see what's next!

That's a good looking knife, Art.
Try to make it to an upcoming guild meeting. We'd love to have you there. Bring a knife or 2 when you do. I'd love to see them up close.

Yeah, I was planning on coming to your meeting , but my daughter wants me to help her move the weekend of the 18th and she lives in Franklin a sbu of Nashville so guess thats where I'll be going. I'll try the next meeting .

There's always the January meeting. IIRC, it will also be at Montgomery Community College in Troy.
