Just checking in to see who all will be attending the Central Texas Knife Show this weekend in Round Rock? The information & location of the show is:
Central Texas Knife Show
July 20 - 22, 2007
Williamson Hotel and Conference Center (Wingate Inn)
1209 N. IH 35
Round Rock, Texas 78664
The Texas Knifemakers & Collectors Association have one of our two annual membership meetings scheduled for Saturday evening, immediately after the show closes. This is a new location for us, so the room number hasn't been decided yet, but we'll post the information at the show as soon as we find out. Our next general membership meeting will be at the Spirit of Steel Show in Grapevine, TX in September. More information on that later.
For anyone that doesn't know, this show was formally held in Austin at the Woodward Hotel, which was previously the Holiday Inn South. Chris Carlson, the show Promoter has done a great job over the years keeping the show going and growing. I hope that you'll all turn out and bring a friend. The new location in Round Rock shows a lot lot of promise with lots of close motels and plenty of good eating places up and down I-35 within walking distance, as well as short driving distances.
Hope to see you all there this weekend.
