Hi all!

I thought you would like to see some pictures of my brand new 4.625" Stanaback "Special" which recently arrived from the Captain himself.

This beauty has a gorgeous piece of gnarly stag with great fitting finger grips. The handle is fitted between a nickle silver hilt and rounded butt cap. The wrist thong hole takes just enough weight out to make it very well balanced. This version of the Captain's dealer special comes with a unique sheath which is a vividly coloured ox blood, and has a place to hold an EZE Lap diamond sharpener.

The fit and finish on this knife is excellent and really illustrates how much care was taken by the various craftsmen who put this baby together. Hats off to all the crew!

Please check out the closeups of the handle posted below.

Cheers!

David

The Captain doesn't look a little peaked, he looks a little "teaked". Talk about "stiff as a board"!! Man-o-man. So this is the thanks I get for making ya' up a Randall that you "like", hey Moose? Boy-o-boy! I'd hate to see how much you hammer me when you get one you "don't" like.
Of course, what are we talking about. These are Randall knives we are talking about. They're all nice!! Good lookin', David, Best, Captain Chris Stanaback

I have a Stanaback Spl. and If I had need for an EDC Randall, it would be the one. Perfect size and design for a do it all knife. Mine has a slab sided stag handle with finger grips. Fits my hand perfectly.

Thanks guys! I'm glad you enjoyed the photos.

Patrick, I use a Nikon Coolpix 995 which has great features, including built-in macro lens capabilities. It's also way obsolete being five years old, but it still suits my needs.

Cheers!

David

P.S. I bet you didn't think the Captain was so wooden... :D
