This is the weekend for the NCCKG winter meeting. I am so excited that Avery and I will be able to attend. I am sooooooo looking forward to getting out of town and getting together with you guys again. Avery jumped at a chance to get out of school early and go with me. He is really looking forward to Iron In The Hat. He is so funny. This 7 year old knife enthusiast treasures every little trinket and piece of metal he brings home. He has it all in a box for the day he starts making knives.

I thought I might bring a couple of the knives I still have of John's. You guys have seen them before but I enjoy taking them out and showing them off. Of course I am really looking forward to picking up the sword the Jones Boys have of John's. They have sharpened it and finished wrapping the handle. I can't hardly wait.

After we leave the meeting we are going to run by Tommy McNabb's and he is going to etch John's logo onto the blade. Soon as I get home I will take a picture and post it up on the forums for all to see.

If you arrive on Friday night look us up, several of us will be meeting for supper. It is always a fun time of renewing friendships and plain ole having fun.
