Here are lots of pictures from the Hammerin last weekend.
Now guess who isn't shown in any of the pictures.
The first picture shows Greg Nealy demonstrating how to use a file jig to file a plunge shoulder in.
Duane DuShane is forging, Johnny Stout demonstrating hollow grinding, Greg Nealy again showing how to qualify for a journeyman's or Master Smith's stamp.

If anyone is interested in purchasing any of these photos I have them saved at 300 dpi so they will make good prints for framing. Email me for prints if you want any of them.

I had a really good time at the hammerin. I learned something from everyone.
Our thanks to Harvey Dean's wife Deborah, his two sons, and my Mom Laverne for preparing and serving the meals.
Bill Ruple was there both days but may not appear in any of the photos. Bill offered lots of helpful tips about fit and finish, which will help me.
So,, thanks to Johnny and Harvey for the fond memories. Vaya con Dios, mis Amigos.

Don, I enjoyed meeting you & your wife this past weekend, wish I could have spent more time with you and aggrivated you more :D We had a great time as well, Richard Epting was a great teacher at the forge, enjoyed it. Stayed out there most of the weekend. You never get to spend as much time with everyone, two days is just not enough. Johnny is a great host as always, he always makes everyone feel welcome. Johnny and Harvey have been putting these on for probably 10 yrs or so, I've been blessed with being able to make several of them. I always have a great time and leane a vast amount of information each time. I know that my knifemaking skills have groan by leaps and bounds because of these two guys and all the instructors they bring in. Thanks Johnny & Harvey, and thank you too Don for posting the pics.
