I am customizing a Ken Onion Scallion by replacing the plastic scales, polishing the blade, etc... The standard hardware that comes with the knife has hex nuts on the reverse side, including the pivot pin. The hex nuts sit inside hex shaped cut-outs (molded) in the plastic scale. These can't be reproduced in my handle material so I need to replace the hardware. The screws are easy but I can't find an appropriate pivot pin. The blade hole is .165" so I need a pivot pin that is .160". The closest I have found is .187" which would be tricky to sand down evenly.

Does anyone know of a supplier of .160 dia pivot pins?

You will have to make the pivot for the knife. I live in Reston and may be able to help you out. Email me.
