I have made 1 automatic and would like to make more. I use a coil sping around the pivot pin. I never looked at a drawing or anything itjust made sense to do it this way.

I ended up milling a recess around the pin area to accomodate the sping. I wanted to just cut a circular groove to house the coil spring. However, I had no luck finding any such cutter.

What do you use? Have you ever seen a groove cutter of the type that I described?
