Really cool grinder. Never seen one for which you need a hedge trimmer as an accessory!! Gives new meaning to "blade" grinder. love it!!

Yes I have already ordered one of Rob Frinks sanding discs. THe auxilary table for it is made but I did not show it in the pics. The particular motor I used has a double ended shaft. I may mount 2 discs or use the other end of the shaft for something else, have not decided yet.

WELL DONE BILL, IT LOOKS LIKE IT COULD HANDLE MOST ANYTHING, IN THE WAY OF GRINDING. HAVE YOU GROUND ANY STEEL YET, HOW DOES IT DO? HOW DID THE COST COME OUT AT THE END? I'M REALLY GLAD FOR YOU AND I HOPE IT THINGS EASIER.

looks like the one on there web site good job. Did you make the 1/2" wheel atachment yet, what do they say its made out of or were do you get it?

No I did not make the small wheel attachment for the grinder. I looked really hard at it and decided to just buy a ready made one for a Burr King grinder. Nick Wheeler has one for his Burr King and it looks like it will just slip right onto my machine. I thought the one in the plans was beyond my capabilities (too much machine shop work = $$$$). I managed to build the grinder w/o machine work except for what Rob Frink did for me.

I kind of figured that I'd have to buy a small wheel if I wanted one like that for the grinder i'm makeing, by the way, How does that tool rest work out for you, is it pretty sturdy? cause I kind of want to put a tool rest like that one on my grinder.

Can't complain at all about the tool rest. It stays in place, is steady and versatile. Would I do it again the same way? Yep.
Installed one of Rob Frinks 9" disc on the auxilary shaft yesterday and it runs smmmooooth.

Looks like something even I could build, if I had help... How much time would be involved?

I did not keep track very well of total cost. Guessing I have about 700 into it.

Very well done plans for $50 - time - as much as you want to put into it (grin). If I kept close track of my time I would guesstimate 60 hours (about a third of that spent scratching my head)
