I made laminated and Damascus one in Thailand.

Damascus blades long 8.5" wide 1.5" and 0.25" thickness.

Welcome to the forums! I don't think you need much advice, you seem to be doing just fine already ...

Looks fine to me. The top one may have a small blister towards the tang weld, but other than that it looks very good. Just remember that even the tang area of the blade needs to have a sufficent amount of flux on it as well as the rest of the blade area for the damascus to weld togather. Thanks for sharing, please show the blades when you finish them with handles I would like to see the completed product as well.
