Mr. Julius, Alan Folts is in Greenville and Tony Kelly is in Kinston. The next meeting will be at Alan's shop and you can get in contact with him on this website to see about coming out on a different date as well. Tony just had surgery and will be out of the shop for several weeks longer I understand, but he's always been willing to let me come out and talk knives and show me what he knows how to do.

Montgomery County Community Collage offers a basic forgeing class for knife makers. And many other knife making classes. The Guild has a meeting there in Jan. I don't have the date with me, but i hope someone will post it here.

Thanks... I will be leaving to Iraq for a couple Months, so maybe when I get back... a friend of mine might be showing me some stuff. I am really interested in looking at the possibility to forge in my gargage if I were to Install a vent. The forge would be away from the walls, so I don't think it would be a serious issue... like I said, I'm just looking into it.
