Does anybody have a good source for safe edge files? I've been looking at the on-line knife supply places and tool suppliers, but haven't found any yet.

According to Don Cowles www.mscdirect.com (http://www.mscdirect.com) has them. I don't have my book handy or I would tell you what they have. Give them a call and order their BIG BOOK.

Tell Brownell's that you are a knife maker and they will consider you a dealer and give you better pricing.

Thanks for the tip, I ordered the catalog from Brownells. In the meantime, i'm going to try to get a local machine shop to make me a round safe edge. After looking at my design, I have decided this is the only one i will need for this first knife.
