After looking and seeing fantastic work, I have a Ray Cover folding knife coming. However, it has been very difficult to find anything about Mr. Cover. I think he lives in MO but even that is a guess. Does anyone know of any resource material on this fine maker?

There are two Ray Covers, father and son. They both live in southeast MO. Ray Sr. is known as a knifemaker. Ray the younger is a well known engraver, makes the occasional beauty of a folder, and hangs out in the Fine Embellishment forum here. He could probably answer any questions.

Now I am curious. There is a Cover knife on Ebay, said to be the son of Ray and the name is Jeff. Jeff Cover. More curiosity...

That is the other son that is said to have one arm. He sure makes some nice knives in his own right.

Who knows...Oupa said Ray had one arm and that was my information. This is curious for sure.
