This one was inspired by several
that were found on the isle of Gotland. It has a 22"
long haft of hickory, the head is 9" long with a 3.5"
cutting edge, and a 1" x 1" butt behind the eye. The
main body is mild steel with a high carbon bit wrapped
over for the cutting edge.

I hope you all enjoy it!
Thanks again,
Jesse

Sorry, just really was itchin' to use that......

Nice work as always Jesse. A person can never make (or have) too many Viking pieces.

One day I'll have to head north and visit your shop. Too bad Tallahassee is so far from here, I kind of wish one or the other of us were in Gainesville instead :D Any chance you'll come down this way for a knife show sometime? There's one in Tampa this fall that's only about 2 miles from my house.

Thanks!

Yeah, I need to get down there at some point. Which show is the one you're talking about?
