HI GUYS,

have just finished my first folder,i made two the same design.one of the problems i had was getting the back spacers using G10 the correct thickness.I came up with a good method which may be of interest.I chucked a piece of 2 inch alu round bar in the lathe and turned up a one eighth flange on the end of the bar.I then suerglued the piece of G10 to the front of the flange then faced it down till i had the correct thickness.the size being the nominated spacer thickness minus the one eighth flange.

Got the exact thickness first time.

am i imaging things or did i read a post where you were posting the pictures, i read it and then when i tried to read it two minutes later it was gone. maybe im loosing my marbles.

I Tried To Post Some Pics Of A Couple Of Folders I Have Just Made .i Must Be Doing It Wrong As When I Preview The Post {no Pics} Hence The Removal Of The Post.
