could someone please refresh my memory on what the angle for liner locks should be(where the back of the blade meets the lock)hopefully you guys can invision what i`m trying to explain...i`m not very good at describing stuff!

Well you will proably get different answers on this one, they can run between 7 and 12 deg, I make mine at about 7 dg
I started off making them with a twelve dg angle on the back of the blade but it seemed like when a lot of pressure was applied on the blade it locked the blade in pretty tight so I started experimenting around and found anything around 7 or 8dg seemed to work better for me.

Glad things worked. I'll try to remember that angle when I get into folders, which seems inevitable and kind of exciting to think about.

I have a LL here, Don Zack helped me get going on, but not making much progress, for varioius reasons.

Someday, I'll be asking folder questions, for sure.
