Here's an old H.E. Draper "White Tail," I believe, that I finished up in about 1978-79 for an old friend, Ken Jenkins who recently passed away.

His son Mitch, who used to help in the two old previoius shops, brought it by and, since I ground and polished the blade, soldered the guard and put on and finished the rosewood handle so long ago, we etched my TM on the opposite side.

Mitch, even now, is mighty handy to have around when I need something built that my lack of carpenter skills won't allow. Thanks to him we have a nice "stand-up" folder work bench.

The photo won't win any awards, but it gives a look at an oldie, and helps remember a great man.

Steve,

Beautiful Knife - Great Lines.

Can you describe to a newcomer how you achieve that grind line?

Thanks in advance.
