Thought this might fit good here to and since it's been a little slow. The sheath is laced in a Mexican Basketweave style and has a Water Buffalo Concho and an Ostrich skin inlay. As usual I hope you like it. Dave:D

Dave, my friend, both the sticker and the dress are upper, UPPER class. Would appreciate it if you would turn the sheath over and inprint my logo on the backside. It would make me proud! Hugs to you and Linda and hope to see you this summer. ---Sandy---

Horacio, thanks for your nice compliment. This was not the threaded lace like you use. It is one piece leather. It is also easier and no where near as nice as your intricate work.As you can tell I am a big fan of your work:bow . Dave:)

Thank you Dave. I don't usually participate because I have some difficulties with the language but I read the posts attentively.
I really like your works (yours, MtMike, Sandy, Chuck and Paul "Spurs").
I'm going to try to make sheaths as you do but I don't have the necessary tools yet...
Horacio
I'll show a new work soon.

A beautiful sheath.
Do you get you leather locally? I'm in Palm Bay and I've been forging knives for about two years now and I am looking to get started with sheaths myself. I just bought my first punch and stitching awl.
Happy Birthday, by the way. Mine's the 31st. (1952)

:welcome: , Hello Tracy, Nice to see someone from around here show up.We need to get together and talk shop and throw down a few beers. I would be glad to help you in any way I can. I'll send you a PM.
As far as leather goes I sometimes get it locally.Try the Christian Workshop on West Drive in Palm Bay. He usually carries some nice stuff and decent prices. You also don't have to buy sight unseen and pay for shipping.Looking forward to making a new friend.Dave:)
