Check out the May 06 issue of the Blade Magazine, page 79, Knifemaker Showcase and you will get a short bio on GCKG's own Garrett White with a mention of Gerald and David. The White's are one of the finest families I have ever met and John was totally blown away by Garrett the first time they met.
John and I both agreed that Garrett has the gentle humbleness of Ron Newton and his work has the fluid quality of Koja Hara. An outstanding combination.
For folks wanting to collect something for one of those "up and comers", that will one day be the "rave" of knifemaking, should be sure and check out Garrett's work. But by the way, don't discount Gerald's or David's---both are outstanding makers in their own right.
Way to go Garrett!!!
