Hi guys,
I'm hoping to turn up some information about a knife I've had for 7 or 8 years now. It's made by a guy named Clark, presumably from northern Indiana. I picked up the knife at a gun show outside Ft. Wayne, and the guy I bought it from said that the guy was pretty well known locally. He said he had a newspaper clipping he's send me, but never did. The knife I have is high carbon steel, drop point, fixed blade hunter with about a 5 inch blade, about 10 inches overall. Brass bolsters and rivets, walnut handle with lots of figure. The name Clark is pencil engraved on the blade by hand, with the bottom feet of the letter A extending to the sides to underline the rest of the name. I was wondering if any of you might know something about the maker, or how many knives he may have made. It's a good user knife, and was abused some, but still serviceable and I hope to clean it up sometime--overall a good ol' knife.
Thanks!
