All I have on hand in that size is 01. Any tips on forging and heat treating of stock that thin? Thanks Scott Ed Caffrey 05-18-2001, 06:36 AM Just be slow and deliberate with it. As you know, thin stock like that will overheat very easily. If it's going to be a leather knife, I'd be tempted to temper it a bit on the hard side.
