It looks like another case of a stolen eBayer's identity, only this time the crook found one with over three hundred positive feedbacks which he's trying to flaunt to bolster his legitimacy. However, all the tell tale signs of a scam are there as previously outlined here on another thread.

There's no end to this kind of dishonesty. The only defense is 100% vigilance and lots of checking... (No, I don't mean as in hockey, DW.) :lol

"You are right. We have contacted ebay and are sorry for any misleading information about this knife. We have actually canceled this listing. "

Shipahoymatey bought this knife back in 2005. This is the second time it has appeared on E-Bay as a scam.

He's been alerted to this new attempted scam.

It's good to see E-bay move so quickly in getting this listing closed down.
