Ok I admit it; I do my handwork in front of the TV. But at least its not sit-coms (yech!).

So a little bit ago I was watching an episode of "What the Romans Did for Us". And on it they flashed an interesting artifact. One the likes of which I have never seen before.

It was a Roman folding knife, with a few extras. On the end opposite the blade pivot was a hinged piece that was a fork on one end and a spoon on the other. Also on the side of the frame opposite the blade, the knife featured an ear spoon, a tooth pick and one other unknown tool, that all folded out.

I have written the BBC but I don’t honestly expect much help from that quarter. So does anyone on this forum know of said artifact? Or can someone direct me to another, similar artifact?

Yeah, but what did the Romans really do for us?

I mean, really?

Because they didn't have keys? :D

Romans had lots of keys, they find em' all the time. The whole ear spoon thing escapes me though, isn't that why we have a little finger?
