just a quick question what does it mean when i read interframe, like in the workshop area where there is a tutorial for an interframe folder?

It is my understanding that the term 'interframe' refers to a design popularized, and perhaps even originated, by Ron Lake where the metal handle of the knife has the majority of the center area removed and replaced with some different material. It is similar in appearance to a handle with an inlay except that rather than just forming a pocket in the metal handle to receive the inlay material, an interfram handle has all of the metal removed so that a frame is formed around the second material....
