If you are not aware of it, the Post Office has a new box, actually, two of them, called "Priority Mail Flat RateBox."
If you ship heavy stuff now and then, they are big enough for a lot of knife materials; from printed matter, to metals and Micarta@, etc., and it only costs $7.70 to ship, no matter what the weight! It's a very good value. I recently shipped quite a few boxes of up to 900-1000 Guild show flyers, around 15 lb., for that amt. and it would've cost $22.50 to ship by regular Priority Mail and $17.50 by Parcel Post. You can get insurance and delivery confirmation, also, if you need it.
