Jeremy Krammes 04-30-2005, 07:48 PM The "BEST" is different to alot of people. What will you be using it for? What materials do you want it made out of? I'm sure just about any of the custom knife makers would suit you fine. I guess the "best" would be the one that fits your hand. If you come up with a list, I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction. Also, I'm not sure what 900 Euro is in US dollers. Jeremy ron p. nott 04-30-2005, 08:38 PM jordi .. to amswer yourt question i would recomend jeremy . i know jeremy he is a student of my i am teaching him how to engrave and i know for a fact that he is a very good knife maker i think if you are buying his knives you will get the most value for your euro . jeremy i think 900 euros is about 1000.00 in dollars . also i have met jordi in reno and he is a very talented engraver his self . and a nice person . jordy 05-01-2005, 10:05 AM 900 euros is about the same in dollars, I don't really care from wich matrerials it is made but the following points are important to me; - It must be very sharp - The handle should give a good grip, but I don't care from wich material it is - It must be designed to fight with I hope someone can tell me wich knives are good, I have seen some knives I liked from benchmade and microtech but I'm not sure or this are good brands. Can anybody tell me please or the large sabenza is a good knive and or it is good to fight with, or should you recommend another knive. Ray Rogers 05-01-2005, 12:44 PM A knowledgable person can turn any knife into a weapon. Which knife you choose will depend partly on your fighting style. For instance, some people perfer a knife like my Rayzor: http://www.rayrogers.com/rayzor7.jpg You can read a review on this knife by Michael Janich at http://www.rayrogers.com/mjrayzor.htm if you wish. After he returned the knife in the article to me it was sold to a Homeland Security officer. A few weeks later, he phoned to tell me he had used it against two assailants who attached him with knives and that the Rayzor worked exactly as Janich had described it, much to the eternal regret of the assailants.... TexasJack 05-01-2005, 11:05 PM My suggestions would cost far less than 900 eu. Darrel Ralph is a terrific designer. What I like best about his knives is that they are "real world" functional. (Some make knives that look great, but wouldn't cut a slice of bread.) The Camillus "Heat" is one of his designs and can be snapped open almost as fast as a switchblade. They also have a new knife the CUDA Maxx Stiletto - another Darrel Ralph design. (See www.camillusknife.com). Another hot folder is the DDR3BL kit - see www.knifekits.com. | |
