This one started as a very large link saw chain stacked and wired to a 1/8" thick bar of L6. The billet was pressed, hammered, then cut in two. The stacked onto the L6 "handle" again and pressed. I used my Claiborne press and my hand hammer to jiggle it shut.
The resulting blade is forged to shape in a nice swayback and measures 6.5" long, 1/4 thick.
The guard is wrought iron salvaged from a fence gate. I used the press to squish the wrought to a manageable sized for fittings. The handle is nicely figured black walnut.
