Does anyone have any reliable sources for 52100? My first would be inexpensive, used bearings. Otherwise, bar or roundstock would be okay, too.
Thanks,
John Frankl

A side note, make sure you get ball bearings, most roller bearings I have run into are case hardend. As for round bar, Admiral steel caries 3/4 bar, and Sheffield Knifemaker's Supply carries flat bar. Hope this helps C L Wilkins 10-27-2001, 07:41 AM Check the Supplier's list... They have larger dia that admiral. Thay are on line also at www.mcmastercarr.com so you do not need a catalog. Just looked on line and found it on page 3341. They sell in 1,3,6 foot lengths and 1" dia is about $13.00 | |
