Could be a valuable learning experience for you. I suppose you mean that the front of your lock bar is straight in the usual fashion but the lock notch in the blade is somewhat wavy and doesn't offer full contact. In that case, try to set the blade so that only the outermost 1/3 or so is in contact with the face of the lock bar. This may not be "the best" but it is usually adequate.... Omega 03-01-2005, 06:41 PM actually ray it more like this drawing....so ill have full contact of the blade and the lock but if i continued on with the original cut it would have gone off the liner and not given me any real lock navajas 03-01-2005, 07:48 PM Why not use the liner for a pattern, glue it to another piece of Ti and transfer all the holes to the new piece. Then relocate and cut the lock and fit it properly. That should just take a few minutes. Roland Ray Rogers 03-02-2005, 08:26 AM Bill, I'm not getting a drawing, just a blank box. But, if you have full contact then there doesn't seem to be much to worry about, even if there are some odd angles involved. If you aren't happy with it then consider Roland's advice and make another liner....... Omega 03-03-2005, 11:53 AM dont know what happened to the pic  the liner is fine its the notch in the blade that is wackey. im just gonna give it a try and see what happens bill | |
