Hi Sandy,

I was planning on posting this over in the Photo area for feedback on my shooting but I can throw it up here.

The top on I've posted before, but hopefully this is a better shot. The bottom one is a new one where I've posted the blade before, but here's it with the new sheath. By the way these are both Sandy's ;) . I talked both the owners out of the knives this past weekend so I could get some better shots.

Edit: Change the pic for a better shot of the fillet sheath

These are Sandy's sheaths, you'd have to ask him how he does his magic. 65 years might be part of it but you have to have some special skill towards this to get this nice of jobs. The design of the fillet knife is something Sandy created for the reciever of the knife. I want to incorparate the idea of fishers of men into the design as the person is a minister and has a degree in religion. He came up with this great piece. The hunters sheath is pure Sandy all the way, I just asked for a nice sheath and I got a great sheath.

These sheaths are great and I just wanted a chance to show off some of Sandy's work as part of a thanks for his efforts. It's also helps my own work when I get a chance to see how to do it right with some time to study the work.

Jim, even with as many sheaths as I have to do and have done ,it's the one Sandy did for me that graces the cover of my calendar.I wear it proudly as my " Sunday-go- to-meeting" knife.I leave it on my workbench other times to remind me of the do's and don'ts.Dave :)

Dave,

I wish I could have on of Sandy's sheaths permanently for study, but I don't carry any type of knife. I work in the corporate world and right on our front door it's says no firearms, weapons or knives allow on premise. I do want to point out that Sandy just great to talk too even when it's not about sheaths. I've talked to both him and Chuck on the phone and both are great guys to put up with taking time away from their day to BS.
