I have a fine little folder and I have no idea if it is hand made, a production folder, or what. I believe it is old, though I am not sure how old.
It has mother of pearl scales, and is very very small. Maybe 2 inches overall! In that small size, on the spine is a curved nail type file with what appears to be hand embellished filework due to its very slight asymmetry. It has a blade marked "Inox", "(N)ogenet" (the N looks like a Y, but may be worn off) and it has a tiny set of scissors with what appear to be tiny tiny hollow ground blades. The scissors are marked "France". The markings do not appear to be pressed and may be hand engraved, but I cannot tell. There is filework down the spine of the blade. Brass liners and pins.
I will try to get a picture but I am surprised I havent been able to find anything online. The quality of the blade, fit, and embellishment and the precision of the scissors and mechanics seems too high quality to be a mass production blade.
Any info that anyone hacn offer would be great
Thanks
