Images of this knife & sheath appeared in the Display forum recently. Here I'm trying to tap into my 'feeling' about Chuck's sheath using the camera. Download time will be about twice normal - sorry. I forgot that when I put a frame around a picture it adds pixels, size etc.
I understand if some folks think the image is over-processed - that's cool. It's just an experiment attempting to express the kind of 'emotional voltage' that we humans sometimes feel in response to 'art.' Figured the Sheath Gallery would be the most appropriate place to post an image like this.

Thanks Buddy,

That is now my new wallpaper on my home puter. I really like the vibrance you added. Not that it needed it , I'm sure.

Can hardly wait to see the magic Chuck and Linda put on what's coming up next :)

Buddy, my friend----The material you are working with is all top echelon and I hope that the supply is inexhaustable. You make this a true "Gallery" and not just a display---Sandy

I will not apologize for bringing this to the top!!! In my mind, the two artist's work that is depicted here is so outstanding it should be a sticky! I admire their skills and bask in their friendship. The word "Gallery" pertains to the world of art, and what better display could grace this forum?

This is one of our most popular sheaths - I get several inquiries each month about making a similar piece. The problem - finding rattlesnake skins with the head! :punchself commercial suppliers all come with the head off!!..........anybody that gets some rattler skins with the head on let me know PLEASE!

Thank you, Sandy, for bringing this one back. In the intervening time I have aquired some new photography skills and gear. Thus I thought it would be fun to re-shoot this terrific collaborative project between Dana Acker and Chuck Burrows. It continues to be a top personal favorite within my collection.

Buddy, my friend, your photos are so alive I must ask a question----what do you feed them? Haven't seen Acker posting lately. Is he all right?
