im not sure if you guys have seen this but its a good read and will touch on some methods that are worth learning if your just starting to study and learn patteren development this is a good starting place .
THEY are lots of places to get information the best way id to run links on any website that has them and be sure to bookmark them as you shearch the web this is but one of many
hope this is not wasting your time it is ment for beginners -- this sit will take you a while to follow but the links will take you to lots of places and will teach you diffrent ways to make --and read a patteren ,whitch will help you build your own

Thanks for the site Bowie. I think everyone benefits from these tutorials, beginners to well seasoned pros alike. Although I've done several of the patterns, I'm still a beginner, and enjoy reading everything I can find on the subject.
