What is the difference between .043; .050 and such in springs for Boker Top Lock? It seems that the springs are all the same, but why the different measurements? BokerAK74

The best thing to do is measure the spring cavity on the knife, or the previous spring, if it's a replacement. If you want to see the measurement I'm referring to, look here:

Interesting, but I would think that a German Top Lock (small & large) would have a so called "standard" for springs? Take the BokerAK74 knife. Wouldn't there be a standard spring for that particular knife? The page that you directed me to shows all Top Locks. However, I would think there would be a standard size? :confused:
More precisely, has Boker been used to use several different springs in their Top Lock series? BokerAK74
