Howdy, all!
I was wondering what you all use your Bog dogs for. The Bog Dog was my very first rat. I use it as an all-purpose knife. The handle is very comfortable; I have big hands and it fits me fine. The blade holds an edge well; it also sharpens up quickly with my steel. I have cut my food, prepared steaks to cook, cut wood, made kindling, cut
rope,leather,paper,paracord and all sorts of cloth. whenever i head outdoors, the Dog is the first knife I grab. I even plan on making an inside-the-pants sheath for it, to accompany me into the urban jungle.
I know that a lot of rat owners do not care for the D2 steel, but I do not have a problem with it. As a matter of fact, several of my custom knives are made of D2; I have never encountered a problem to date.
So, what do you do with your Bog Dogs?
