thought I would share this with you. It has been named the puzzle knife.
The name has been given due to the manner it was constructed..
The first is the manner in which this knife has been constructed.
Shaft

The shaft has a front section of Ziracote and is separated from the main body of the shaft by a sandwich false ivory and black phenolic plastic. The main section of the shaft has a top section of African Paduk and a bottom section of Canadian yellow birch.
These two sections are separated by alternating veneers of Paduk and ash which have been steam bent to fit the shaft.
This continues right though the end of the shaft and is perfectly symmetrical all the way through. It is also visable on top.

The dust from the paduk has settled in the open grain of the ash giving a wonderful effect.

Blade
The blade is a 22 x 75 mm Rose Damascus and is very sharp.
