Hi, I want to know if itīs possible to do a stainless damascus? how to do it? If itīs a good choice for a knife?

It's possible, though more difficult for the home smith to make then non-stainless damascus. Damasteel is a stainless damascus used for knife blades and I've never heard a bad thing about it.

you can make damascus from stainless steels of simular alloy . They are very easy to weld but very hard to forge. They dont lend them selves to fancy mosaic work. Devon Thomas is about the best in the business at this material. If you can catch him in a free moment he is a great resource for information on forging and forge welding stainless steel.

Probably better to call him, like Steve said, but you'll probably have a hard time getting a hold of him there too, so you should try, try, again.
