Okay, so you all know I'm a leather guy. And you know I like sheathing (yeah, I know, the transitive verb "to sheath") the whole Busse/Swamp Rat line.
A while back Warren (T1mpani) asked if I had any ideas for a heavily modified Camp Tramp. "Uuuuuh, yeah" sez I, and here it is. 10 ounce cowhide, sharkskin, and an emu keeper strap. (This may come as a surprise to Warren -- I haven't been able to get a rise out of his email. Anyone know what he's up to :confused: )
BTW, this is a GREAT feeling handle :)

That sharkskin looks cool! Is it laminated onto cowhide, or is it just shark? The emu strap makes it complete.
I also like the handle on the knife. pretty fancy package, overall.

Right, the shark is glued to 7 ounce cowhide, so it's still a very tough sheath. I'm working on a Howler faced with emu -- gotta do something different once in a while :D
