After Jon mentioned this find a few threads ago I tried to find some pics online to no avail. But lo and behold, someone started a thread about it at SFI. Interesting stuff as I hadn't seen any seax blades this shape before now. They remind me a bit of a a falcata, especially in the handle.

Ahhh... I love those. Great pics in that thread.

I have some nice engravings of them in my copies of The Viking Age by Du Chaillu, but never seen the originals. Lovely sheath on that first one...
