Anyone planning to attend the OKCA (Oregon Knife Collectors Assoc.) show next week? The family and I are heading out around 5am on Thursday morning. Takes us about 13 hours to drive over there. Looks like all 470 tables are sold out for this year! If anyone is going to be there, come by and visit me at table O-15.

Since Dad is going to help me watch over things, I will for sure make my way to your table! But you can't come over to my table... all the laughing you would do at my knives might scare the show-goers :)

I was beginning to think I would be the only one at the show! :)
Plans are for us to head out EARLY on Thur morning, somewhere in the 4-5am range. It's 13 hours for us to drive in, but it's usually a nice ride down the columbia gorge.
If everything gets done, I'll have a couple of hunters, a mosaic bowie, four folders, and a dozen EBKs.
I was hoping to get a blade done for the rope cutting comp., but doesn't look like I'm going to make it.
Once I get set up on friday, I'll be wondering around meeting and greeting. I'll make sure I come by!

I beat you home, only takes me a couple of hours. You Montana guys may win all the awards but us Oregonians get home quicker. Really enjoyed meeting you and look forward to seeing you again. Your work is even more impressive in person than in pictures. Ray

But I live just 20 minutes away, so I guess it's a good trade off. (especially since I didn't enter anything ;)
I did have a nice vist with Ed and his family, since they were on the table next to me.

You locals, takes me two hours to get home. You actually say Ed at his table? I thought it was quite hard to spot him with all those cowboy hats. You going to be doing the Mini show in December? If so I'll try to look you up. Got a big ugly fighter I promissed a quy I would get started on after the big show so I better get with it. Glad you had a good show.
