Just wondering how many makers got there start working under other famous makers?Do you have names?

Well I guess you could say John Cooper was the one who really got me headed in the right direction. I worked with him for several years.

I got my start at the ABS school. Always wanted to make my own knife, so when I ran across an add for the school I told work and my wife - see you in a couple of weeks. My instructor was Jay Henderson. While there Jerry Fisk, James Cook, and Bill Moran gave their input too. It was one of the best times of my life. They so freely shared everything they knew with us learners.
