It will be in the Hilton behind Bass Pro Shops, just north of the DFW airport. Sept 17, 18, 19. Here's the link to the show website. http://www.jbrucevoyles.com/ MixonKnives 07-30-2004, 08:11 PM Hey h2ostx, Thanx for the info. Any other of you guys gonna show up for this one? I hope to get a chance to meet a few of you in person. And I'm sure I'm gonna have a great time. Like I said, this will be my first show to ever attend, and I'm not certain on what to expect. But I am certain on one thing, "It'll be awsome! :101 " Michael pknives 08-02-2004, 10:14 AM I`m going to be there. I think the move to Grapevine will really help the show. Bruce Voyles is really good at putting on a knife show, He started the Blade Show in Atlanta many years ago. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. Bill Ruple Drac 08-02-2004, 10:30 AM I'll be there, I only live in McKinney, about 30 min away. I was going to get a table but I won't have enough knives ready to make it worth it so I'll just be bouncing around the show. Jim JimmySeymour 08-02-2004, 08:37 PM I'm going to be there. Not sure if I can have any knives made in time though. I'm ordering my grinder from Rob in a couple of days. But at least I'll be there to look and drool over some knives. h2ostx 08-02-2004, 10:18 PM I'll be there, too. Won't have a table myself, but will be visiting with my good friend and mentor Carlton Evans. He makes a great looking knife, you guys need to be sure and check them out. The show has moved right into my backyard, SO I'M REALLY HAPPY! :101 About 15 miles away from me. It will be good to talk with you too, Mr. Ruple. :D Kelly Waters Johnny Stout 08-09-2004, 01:40 PM I'll be there. Looking forward to this first time in Grapevine. I think the move will be a big improvement for the makers, and should draw a bigger crowd than the Mesquite show of the previous years. MixonKnives 08-09-2004, 06:22 PM well there has been some changes at my work. Had to let a guy go. So i'm not sure if i'll be able to get the day off. Really pisses me off to. I was so looking forward to my first knife show. And I only live about 45 minutes away. Really sucks. Does anyone know how late the show will be there? and by any chance will any of the guys with tables still be loitering on sunday?? Geno 08-13-2004, 09:23 AM I'll be there too! :101 Looking forward to this show, every year. chrisc 08-15-2004, 02:14 PM I will also be there. www.texknife.com Les Robertson 08-16-2004, 06:32 AM Im looking forward to the new location as well. See you there. Lori Ristinen 08-19-2004, 09:38 PM I was wondering what everyone here thought about this show, such as how many tables, how many people attend the show, are there any other scrimshanders that have a table, etc. ? Is it usually a good show (profitable) for everyone or is it one of those shows where you get to meet other knifemakes and have a good time (kind of like a family reunion) or both? The reason why I'm asking is I am a scrimshander in Minnesota and I have thought about getting a table for this show (next year maybe). I have in past years had a table at the Houston Gun Show and would like to get back down to Texas again sometime. Also, if anybody has any other shows they would recommend that would be great. I'm looking for a couple other shows (I go to a knifeshow in Janesville, WI - Badger Knife Club Show - in March and The Blade Show in Atlanta. Thanks in advance!
