You tried to contact us through the forum e-mail program. We haven't been able to get a reply to you.

Could you e-mail us directly?

Eric - he's a Canadian maker that met you at the Guild Show.

AW GEEZ! My first post here and I already need to clarify myself. I was hoping to have something insightful and clever to say my first time out. First impressions are very important.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":\">

First off, I am NOT a maker, haven't even tried but would like to, that's kinda why I'd like to get your video. I'm not even much of a collector, having only a few (read 6) customs and several production. But I have determined that I will buy a knife from Eric Elson, I just have to drive ten minutes to his place and figure out what I want.

I would also like to say that I enjoy this forum very much. I may not have alot to say, but I love absorbing knife knowledge and will contribute when I think I can help or have a question, since I don't have much/any experience.

Pat, I've sent an e-mail using the link above, hopefully that works.
I'll see the rest of you around at some point.
But until then: Have you ever wonder what the greatest thing was before sliced bread?

Later,
Dale.

Dale,
Welcome to the forums. Allow me to clarify something as well. You don't have to be a maker or a serious collector with bags of money to hang around here. Here's a line copied and pasted directly from the main page of Custom Knife Directory...

The CKD ... for custom knife enthusiasts!

So, you've already made a good first impression. You're a knife enthusiast, and in your first post you've showed honesty and integrity.

You're CKD all the way. Good to have you.

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement.

I would do a review except for one thing...... I haven't used it! I took some hair off my arm, wore it around the house, but most of the time it's on my desk and I just hold it and admire the craftsmanship. Is'a a Lightfoot C-4 spearpoint with black/blue bead blasted G-10, BG42 steel and a black/blue IWB Concealex sheath.

Similar to the one seen here:

Glad I finally found you Dale. Nice to see you post too.
I'm a perfect example of how little you need to know or do concerning knives. :)
